Cooperation protocols were signed with leading universities in Spain.

Istanbul Medeniyet University, which has adopted the mission of bringing scientific knowledge production to a universal level and increasing international academic interaction, hosted a delegation of academics from the University of Zaragoza and the Polytechnic University of Valencia in Spain. During the visit, which took place on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, an academic cooperation protocol was signed between Istanbul Medeniyet University and the University of Zaragoza.

The meeting, held at the Rector's office, was attended by Istanbul Medeniyet University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Yaşar Bülbül, General Secretary Ali Ramazan Tak, International Corporate Communication Coordinator Assoc. Dr. Nagehan Ersoy Tunalı, and Faculty of Arts, Design and Architecture lecturer Prof. Dr. Özlem Oğuzhan; and from the Spanish delegation, Rafel Arnal Rodrigo, Eva Fernández Palop, Chele Esteve Sendra, and Ana Tomás Miralles.

Thanks to this protocol, the sharing of knowledge and experience between the institutions will be strengthened, creating new academic opportunities on a global scale for students and academics. This strategic step deepened scientific ties between the two countries and laid the groundwork for the continuation of interdisciplinary projects on an international scale.
