About

İstanbul Medeniyet University International Office is responsible for managing and developing international activities. International Office runs the exchange programs such as Erasmus+ and Mevlana and full-time student recruitment activities. The International Office was established to contribute to the internationalization efforts of IMU; innovative, productive, giving value and importance to different cultures with the full consideration of inclusion. It is a unit that plans and conducts its activities with a participatory approach. In this context, the office is responsible:

 - To find stakeholders for international project-based collaborations that will carry the university forward in the scientific and academic field, and to prepare and develop the process of implementing the cooperation with other relevant units of the University;

- To ensure that IMU makes agreements with the world's respected universities and scientific research institutions to develop a common working culture.

- Representing and promoting the university in international organizations in accordance with global requirements;

 - Informing IMU students and academicians about higher education abroad, scholarships, and research opportunities, and supporting them in easy access to international scientific information and academic legislation and education opportunities;

- To organize activities and programs that will help foreign students and academicians to adapt to the academic and cultural environment of IMU;

- Contributing to students and academic/administrative staff to learn about different cultures through cultural activities;

 - To contribute to the global knowledge and experience of students and academicians by carrying out the necessary studies for the initiation and execution of international exchange programs.
